Valley Grove Industrial Flex Sites A & B is a 95,780 sq feet industrial and commercial office project on a 7.3-acre lot in Pleasant Grove, Utah. This project is part of the Valley Grove mixed-use commercial project. It is adjacent to the Tesla dealership, for which Galloway also provides land survey and civil engineering services.
Using the same utility design, Galloway developed the site plan concurrently with the Tesla dealership. Galloway also worked closely with the City of Pleasant Grove, the Pleasant Grove City Public Works and Engineering, the local irrigation ditch master, and Rocky Mountain Power to complete key components of the project.
Key components include ensuring proper site access, working with a shallow storm drain while minimizing the grading and cost of fill, and designing the roadway widening across 700 South. Site grading was required considering at-grade overhead doors and dock-high doors. This project also developed an overall site detention pond to serve the office and extended development area. The land survey and civil design are complete, and construction is ongoing, with an anticipated completion date of fall 2022.
