Legacy Academy

Legacy Academy is a growing K-8 charter school serving approximately 400 students. Galloway provided full design services for the school’s new addition and renovations.

Galloway’s services included survey, civil engineering, architectural design, interior design, and MEP and structural engineering for the addition and remodel of this school. This includes full architectural design for the multi-level addition as well as renovations to the existing building, updated HVAC systems, and parking lot expansion.

The 14,000 sf addition, a two-story, pre-engineered metal building, will add nine classrooms to the school, as well as common areas and supporting spaces. Approximately 15,600 sf of the existing single-story building will be renovated to include the addition of athletic locker/changing rooms, relocation of the main offices, creation of a more secure front entry to the school, and updates to existing classroom areas.

The existing east parking lot also was expanded and paved, requiring modifications to the existing detention area and the addition of new retaining walls.
