Galloway Architecture, Engineering, Surveying

Client Name

Chrisland Commercial Real Estate, Inc.

Location

Johnstown, Colorado

Size

600 acres

Galloway provided civil engineering, architectural design, site planning, and visioning for pad sites in this 600-acre master-planned community, including The Plaza at 2534 and Ironwood Shops.

Galloway was the Metro District Engineer for the approximately 600-acre 2534 Development located at the SE quadrant of I-25 and US 34 in Johnstown, Colorado. Because of our extensive knowledge of the development, Galloway also provided engineering, architecture, and landscape reviews on behalf of the 2534 Design Review Committee for all proposed pad site developments.

Galloway employees were involved in the 2534 Development since its inception in 2004, which includes the full project’s master infrastructure design, including storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water. Two regional detention and water quality ponds are included in the master stormwater design, allowing the pad site to develop without on-site detention ponds. The Farmers Ditch was realigned through the site, and one mile of the ditch was converted to a pipeline. Galloway staff were regularly involved with public presentations and interactions between the Town of Johnstown, various developers, and the Metro District Board.
