The Coronado Apartments is a 10.25-acre luxury apartment community located in Fresno, California. The project aims to provide essential multifamily housing in a highly desirable Fresno neighborhood, offering access to a sought-after school district for individuals who may not have the option of homeownership. By creating a walkable environment complemented by nearby commercial developments, the project seeks to enhance the quality of life for residents while meeting the growing demand for housing in the area. The community offers 164 units with private patios/balconies and a state-of-the-art two-story clubhouse with a pool area.
Galloway provided civil engineering and site development services, including on- and off-site civil improvement drawings, and successfully navigated a challenging City of Fresno review/permitting process in an efficient and timely manner. The team worked to make the highly compact site ADA-compliant while maintaining adequate drainage gradients. With the site lacking access to municipal storm drains, the team employed creative strategies to manage stormwater runoff through sheet flowing, and effectively balancing earthwork and proper grading on the site.
