As President of Hafer since 2004, Jeff is recognized as a business leader in the Evansville, Indiana, community. His responsibilities lie both in helping shape the strategic future of Hafer and empowering his employees to use their imaginations to create a better world with the designs they envision.

As part of this desire to do what’s right, he ensures the people at Hafer give back through volunteer leadership in our communities. Not only does Jeff advocate this for his employees, he serves as a role model. He serves on the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership’s Board of Directors, Deaconess Hospital Foundation Board of Directors, Deaconess Hospital Central Region and Illinois Region Board of Directors and Downtown Evansville EID Board of Directors, just to name a few.

Jeff provides design leadership across a wide spectrum of Hafer’s projects including civic, corporate, healthcare and education. He is a talented problem solver and is skilled at communicating complex design issues. His keen ability to build alliances between the right partners coupled with his team-oriented spirit has contributed to the success of his projects.

Ron has focused his career on integrating good business principles with engineering design. His belief that all engineering systems should be maintainable, efficient and reliable ensures his clients receive a successful end result. As part of his commitment to client service, he not only examines first cost of projects but the life cycle costs in order to choose the correct system. His unofficial motto is “Engineering for Your Life” which can be witnessed through his dedication to leaving a positive impact on the people who inhabit the space through his work.

As an athlete himself and former coach of his children’s sports teams, Ron has a natural talent to mentor and encourage others. Within the firm, he can be seen working with employees to inspire inquisitiveness and creativity which truly contributes to an enjoyable and collaborative office culture.
