Lyons Creek is a 33.5-acre single-family rental home community in Commerce City, Colorado where residents can enjoy amenities such as a playground, park space, picnic area, and basketball court. Originally designed by another civil engineer as a traditional for-sale neighborhood, our civil engineering and surveying team stepped in to assist the client with plot plans, construction staking, as-builts, and detailed lot grading when the project transitioned to a rental model. Despite joining the project mid-construction project, our team successfully executed a major redesign and provided critical guidance on earthwork management for 154 lots, helping the client retain the necessary material on site and avoid costly over-excavation.
