Whole Foods Market at The Promenade in Castle Rock is part of a one-of-a-kind shopping destination in Colorado. The 43,000 sf Whole Foods Market is included in the overall project that encompasses more than 166 acres and 1 million square feet of retail. Galloway played a critical role in the visioning, planning, entitlement, architectural design, and landscape design for the overall development and also provided Whole Foods Market with complete architectural design, structural and MEP engineering, and landscape design. Galloway maintained a flexible design process to support tenant-specific interior modifications throughout the project.

Galloway collaborated with the Whole Foods Market architect and developer for an exterior design that fit the aesthetic of the surrounding development while maintaining Whole Foods Market’s identity and branding and accommodating their location-specific goals of a taproom and indoor/outdoor patio. Exterior footprint and elevation adjustments were made to meet the needs of internal functions.
