Villas at Pony Tracks

The Villas at Pony Tracks is a 2.25-acre townhome community near the Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Galloway’s civil engineering team was vital in handling grading, utilities, and drainage design, including preparing a drainage report. Close coordination with Colorado Springs Utilities (CSU) was essential to create a successful site design that worked around existing constraints and utility locations.

On the undeveloped site, the team tackled challenges like relocating a private water main to meet CSU’s public criteria standards and facilitating its ownership transfer to the agency. Additionally, an existing detention pond was redesigned while preserving 60% of its original footprint to adhere to the City of Colorado Springs Stormwater Enterprise (SWENT) requirements.

Construction wrapped up in September 2023.
