Trailside at Cottonwood Creek is a single-family housing project development consisting of 56 three-story detached homes on 15.7 acres. It is located on the south side of Woodmen Road between Lee Vance View and Austin Bluffs Parkway in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Galloway provided full civil and survey services including road construction, grading, retaining walls, drainage design including a water quality and detention pond, channel analysis, and utility installation. Galloway worked with the challenges of the site which included significant grades through the site and implemented a system of buildings with tuck-under garages and walk-outs to make up grade through to balance the earthwork efforts and eliminate the need for significant walls.
