Located in Northglenn, Colorado, The Prost Biergarten will be the new flagship brewery by Prost Brewing Co., a local family-owned German brewing company. It will feature an internal restaurant, multi-use exterior patio space, and an internal brewing operation on a .54-acre site.
Working closely with outside consultants and the client, Galloway converted an existing Bed Bath & Beyond site into an open and accessible outdoor biergarten with diverse patio space and multi-use areas for seasonal enjoyment. Galloway’s team balanced civil engineering and landscape architectural design to create terraced patios, supportive brewery patio space, live music and entertainment areas, a kids’ space, yard games, and fire pit areas.
A stormwater and new sanitary system were designed for drainage from the patio and onsite wastewater, and a new irrigation design was implemented.
Galloway provided civil engineering and landscape architecture services for the new brewery location’s entitlement, design, and construction phases. Prost Brewing Co. held a grand opening ceremony on January 4, 2024.
