118 acres
Falcon Meadows at Bent Grass is a 118-acre single-family land development project located on Bent Grass Meadows Drive in Falcon, Colorado. This project has 267 residential lots, approximately 19 acres of parks and open space, and three miles of local residential streets with an additional 1.6 miles of the arterial road.
Bent Grass Meadows Drive required drainage, turn lane, and traffic signal improvements at the intersections of Meridian Road and Woodmen Frontage Road. Galloway completed a master development drainage study and drainage basin planning amendment for 3,135 LF drainage channel improvements to obtain project approval through El Paso County (the County).
Coordination with outside consultants and municipal agencies was conducted to compile the final drainage report, water sufficiency, and fire protection reports for the submittal. Galloway‘s submittal package to the County also included full civil site construction drawings and grading and erosion control plans. In addition to county approval, our civil engineering team prepared the utility plan for approval by the Woodmen Hills Metropolitan District.
Surveying services included a final subdivision PLAT with a complete boundary survey and plat boundary monumentation based on current jurisdictional requirements.
Construction administration services include RFP response, civil site inspection, El Paso County as-built, and certification approval.
