Client Name

City of Northglenn

Northglenn, CO

Galloway provided services on behalf of the City of Northglenn for survey, plat work and public street design, which included street widening, roundabout design, and intersection design. Additionally, under another contract, Galloway provided services for a sanitary line design using the install of a cure-in-place pipe (CIPP) system after the existing lines collapsed.

Galloway also contracted with the Northglenn Urban Renewal Authority (NURA) to widen 120th Avenue as a connection from the off-ramp of I-25 to the proposed development site, and to model the City’s sewer system, in which Galloway analyzed the impact of the proposed 13-acre development on the downstream lift station.

Galloway was able to quickly determine that the lift station had capacity to move the additional effluent, but the City was then faced with the rest of the downstream system’s capacity to carry this additional flow to the treatment plan.  The system was analyzed via the provided GIS data and a report prepared with the results.  The project is completed and operational.
