Fire Station #32 in Syracuse, Utah

Syracuse City

Location

Syracuse, Utah

Completion Date

June 2025

17,153 sf | 2.98 acres

The City of Syracuse has seen tremendous growth and development over the last decade as the gateway to Antelope Island State Park. To meet the City’s growing demands, Galloway was selected to design a new fire station adjacent to Jensen Park to enhance the department’s ability to serve the area.

The 17,153-sf facility was designed to feature four apparatus bays, a space for training up to 50 personnel, office spaces, and living quarters for 10 firefighters. The 2.98-acre site includes a landscaped outdoor jogging path to enhance their fitness experience.

Galloway provided architectural design, interior design, civil engineering, survey, and landscape architecture services, including grading, site, utilities, drainage, and demolition design. The undeveloped site required our team to expand the offsite sewer and design a new road connecting Bluff Drive to Jensen Native Park. Due to the site orientation, we created a plan for water to drain away from the site, requiring the site to be prepped with fill to level it out.
