Located in Littleton, Colorado, the 30,000 sf Sport Court of the Rockies headquarters was designed to support both the company’s operations and distribution needs, while also creating a premier home for the local EDGE Volleyball Club. The facility features four state-of-the-art indoor courts and a designated area for physical therapy and other complementary tenant uses.
Galloway’s civil engineering and site development scope included floodplain analysis and FEMA permitting, grading, erosion control, utility design, highway access permitting, and the preparation of construction and entitlement documents. Because the original zoning only permitted a gymnasium use, the entitlements process required securing approval for volleyball-specific operations. Our architecture team partnered closely with civil to shape an exterior design that addressed complex site constraints, met tenant vision and operational needs, and aligned with jurisdictional requirements.
The team further analyzed unique programmatic requirements to successfully integrate court space, distribution functions, tenant areas, and circulation into a highly efficient layout. This seamless coordination ensured that athletes, staff, and visitors could comfortably operate within the same facility.
