Located in Englewood, Colorado, KNGDM is a football sports performance training facility geared toward athletes of all ages, focusing on speed, strength, and skill development. In our ongoing relationship with Mica Company, Galloway provided architectural design, interior design, MEP engineering, and construction administration services to transform an existing tenant space into this community-focused sports facility.

This 8,535sf renovation included space planning, reworking existing ductwork, and lighting design. Our teams effectively addressed mechanical equipment sizing and challenging existing conditions to meet the client’s requirements and the functional needs of the space.

Working closely with the client to realize their vision, these key features help create the atmosphere they wanted to achieve with the end users’ needs in mind.

An overall sleek black design for a modern, high-end aesthetic.
The KNGDM logo is prominently displayed on the ceiling and one wall.
Black artificial turf for a 40-yard dash, marked in 5-yard increments for running routes and throwing footballs, similar to a combine layout.
Client program requirements such as locker rooms, TV screens for workout displays, dumbbell and power racks for free-weight lifting, and lockers for kids to store their items.
Stainless steel fans for air circulation, with fan size adjusted to fit the ceiling height.
Wall padding for athlete safety
A mix of circular and linear lighting to illuminate the space and accentuate the track, creating an illusion of speed.
