Silverthorne Storage

Silverthorne Storage is a 117,000 sf three-story, climate-controlled self-storage building on 4.51 acres in Silverthorne, Colorado. Galloway provides a full scope of architecture and engineering services, including architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, MEP engineering, land survey, landscape architecture, site lighting, and development services.

The entire civil design includes extensive excavation and grading, installation of soil nail shotcrete walls, a foundation and under slab drain system, a no-rise certification for floodways, and realignment of the Sayre Trail per United States Forest Service requirements.

Our development services team coordinated with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for wetlands permitting and Denver Water for Dillon for reservoir dam release, including a public water main loop through the site and across the Blue River to Stephens Way. We also coordinated with the Colorado Department of Transportation for a special use permit.

The estimated completion of this project is in the summer of 2024.
