Zweig Group has announced the 2023 ElevateHER™ cohort, and we are proud to have our very own Katie Fitzpatrick participating in this incredible group.
“I am honored to have been chosen to be part of the 2023 cohort,” said Katie, marketing and communications coordinator. “I am excited to connect with other women in the industry from different backgrounds, firms, and stages in their careers.”
The 2023 cohort is a special task force comprised of individuals committed to promoting diversity to combat recruiting and retention challenges in the architectural, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.
Katie hopes to work on a project focusing on diversity within internal company programs and external marketing.
“Our GROW Network (Galloway Recognizes Opportunities for Women) at Galloway is a beneficial and unique network that all firms should have. I want to look into creating ways to help companies implement diversity initiatives like that,” she said.
The previous three cohorts worked as different project teams, each concentrating on a particular challenge or focus area to provide a product or strategy that can make a measurable impact on the AEC industry. The 2023 cohort will build upon these past projects and develop new ideas and initiatives.

These individuals do not only come together to create tangible solutions to tackle the AEC recruitment and retention challenges, but they also build a robust personal network through the ElevateHER® experience that will continue to flourish. Cohort members and alumni become each other’s trusted personal resource, and that’s incredibly invaluable.”
