As the City of Bluffdale experienced a remarkable surge in growth, it became apparent that the existing city hall and justice court facilities were no longer sufficient to meet the community’s evolving needs. The City wanted a facility that would accommodate its current operational needs, serve as a beacon of community identity and gathering, be forward-thinking, enhance service delivery, and incorporate appropriate sustainable strategies.
The City engaged Galloway to conduct needs assessment interviews and design workshops to determine its current and future needs. We also held public visioning sessions and City council presentations to right-size the facility and form a consensus among the community members.
The facility houses various vital city departments, including city administration, multi-purpose council and community meeting space, community development, finance, city attorney, and justice court. Galloway provided programming, architectural design, interior design, and landscape architecture services for the combined city hall and justice court building.
