Galloway’s interior design team partnered with Braintree Development to support the renovation of the Hampton Inn in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. We ensured that materials and finishes aligned with Hampton’s design standards while providing continuity across the 124 guestrooms, public areas, and the exterior of the existing 101,000 sf building. Key focus areas included the breakfast and market spaces, where our team collaborated with an art vendor to develop a custom public-area art package and coordinated closely with the owner, architect, and contractor to maintain brand consistency throughout construction.
The refreshed design blends a warm, lodge-inspired architectural backdrop with updated contemporary furnishings. Natural wood millwork, paneled columns, and a stone-clad fireplace create a strong regional aesthetic, complemented by neutral wallcoverings and branded artwork. In the lobby and dining areas, mid-century–influenced seating, tailored upholstery, and geometric patterns add softness and visual interest, while layered lighting, including recessed fixtures and scaled pendants, enhances the double-height volume and elevates the guest experience.
