Galloway provided complete project development services for the Town of Johnstown for roadway improvements to Weld County Road 50. These services included site survey, civil engineering documents and reports, preliminary and final design, and as-needed construction contract administration.
Our preliminary design process was collaborative, involving coordination with the town staff, adjacent property owners, and utility and irrigation companies as needed. We conducted thorough field investigations, including establishing the survey control for the project, identifying existing utilities, existing storm sewer crossings, and drainage patterns, and completing a soil testing program. The design of the roadway improvements and intersections within the project corridor, as well as applicable drainage crossings for the associated improvements, was meticulously planned. The roadway design and detailed opinions of probable construction costs were submitted to the Town for review, demonstrating our commitment to involving all stakeholders in the project.
