In early 2020, Educational Employees Credit Union (EECU) wanted to bring its financial services to the community of Reedley, California. Galloway provided civil engineering services for this 1.1-acre site development project.
Previously considered by some to be undevelopable, the Galloway civil engineering team worked closely with Teter Architects to successfully redevelop this complex infill site. Bounded by the Southern Pacific Railroad and the city’s trail network, the frontage was almost entirely on a city roundabout.
Galloway resolved the existing drainage issues, eliminating the need to enter into a complex permitting process. The Galloway and Teter team successfully developed a functional site connecting to the city’s trail network. Construction on EECU’s Reedley branch was completed in September 2021.
