Galloway provided architectural and interior design services for the remodeling and upgrades at St. George Regional Hospital. The emergency department lobby and triage area required updates to enhance the durability of the finishes and improve accessibility. Importantly, this work needed to be completed without closing the department or restricting patient access.
To achieve this, Galloway collaborated closely with the owner and the contractor to phase the project effectively, ensuring continuous adherence to ICRA safety protocols and security measures and uninterrupted access for staff and patients throughout the construction process. The existing storefront system was also reworked to create a permanent secondary access point, allowing for greater flexibility for future maintenance or emergency needs.
