Casey Volt Recognized with AEC Industry Rising Star Award

May 7th, 2026

Galloway is proud to share that Casey Volt, PE, civil engineering project manager, is selected by Zweig Group as a 2026 Rising Star in the AEC industry. This award recognizes young professionals who have distinguished themselves through exceptional technical ability, leadership, effective teaching and research, and a commitment to community and industry service.

Casey Volt, PE, civil engineering project manager at Galloway, is selected by Zweig Group as a 2026 Rising Star in the AEC industry.

Since joining Galloway after graduating from Colorado State University, Casey has built a career defined by steady growth, problem-solving, and strong client relationships. She began in a civil design role, where she quickly developed a specialization in stormwater design, contributing to projects that support the growth of communities across Northern Colorado. Her ability to balance technical performance with practical, long-term solutions set her apart early on.

As her experience expanded, Casey took on increasingly complex projects across residential, retail, and industrial sectors. Known for her consistency and proactive communication, she has earned the trust of clients who rely on her not only for technical execution, but for her ability to anticipate challenges, keep projects on track, and maintain alignment across teams. In 2022, she earned her Professional Engineer (PE) license, marking a key milestone in her career.

Now serving as a project manager, Casey leads with a people-first approach grounded in accountability and collaboration. She sets a high standard for her work while supporting and developing those around her, fostering a team environment focused on quality and shared success.

Beyond project delivery, Casey plays an active role in shaping Galloway’s future. As a member of the company’s Associate Program, she contributes to initiatives that enhance internal processes and elevate project quality. She also mentors team members across the company, helping bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world application.

Her impact extends beyond the workplace. Casey is actively involved with the National Sports Center for the Disabled through the Wells Fargo Cup, co-leads Galloway’s women’s network (Galloway Recognizes Opportunities for Women), and volunteers with local organizations including Food for Thought and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

“What sets Casey apart is her willingness to own every aspect of her work. She holds herself and her team to high standards, supporting those around her, and delivering results that consistently earn client trust,” says Scott Brown, senior civil engineering technical project manager and principal at Galloway.

Casey’s selection makes her one of 25 chosen for the 2026 class of Rising Stars in the AEC Industry by Zweig’s panel of judges. Since 2020, Galloway has had eight employees receive this award.
