Galloway Architecture, Civil Engineering, Surveying Blog
Meet Troy Kelts!
February 18th, 2022
Troy joined Galloway about a year ago but worked in the Denver market with Galloway and the people at Galloway for the last twenty years. Since officially joining the Galloway team, he has enjoyed the collaboration Galloway has between the different disciplines, specifically between the
development services and
civil engineering teams.
Troy’s desire to build and design stemmed from his love of playing with Legos growing up. Originally, he thought he would pursue architecture, but after visiting job sites and learning about land development in college, he chose civil engineering. He specifically enjoys commercial land development because he sees projects go from a green field to a flourishing development and knows he played a role in it.
Galloway has provided Troy with the most diverse portfolio he has had in his career. He loves the variety of projects and working through the challenges of each one to create a successful project for the client.
Troy spends his free time “doing kid stuff” such as sports, cub/boy scouts, skiing, and coaching. When he isn’t spending time with his kids, he enjoys watching and attending college basketball and football games and checking out new breweries and whiskey.
