Meet Nicole Karasik

January 27th, 2023

Science and math were Nicole Karasik’s favorite subjects in school, and having parents who attended college for engineering, she was eager to prove she could become an engineer too. In May 2019, Nicole graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and joined Galloway as a civil design engineer about a year later.

Nicole plays an active role in our culture as an event committee member for the Galloway People of Color network and a member of the Galloway Recognizes Meet Nicole Karasik, a civil engineer at GallwoayOpportunities for Women network. She also helps organize our Food for Thought philanthropy efforts.

“I am passionate about helping other people, and Galloway has given me an avenue to do that,” she said.

Currently, she primarily works on commercial and King Soopers fuel station projects. Her coworkers’ drive and passion inspire her to do her best.

“Everyone cares about each other and wants to ensure everyone is succeeding in their professional and personal lives.”

Having grown up speaking Russian and learning Spanish from studying abroad in Northern Spain, Nicole is multilingual. She is currently learning German and enjoys hiking, skiing, running, and yoga. You can also find her at an avalanche game wearing her Compher jersey.
