Meet Josh Murphy
Josh Murphy was hired as a civil design engineer in June 2022 after graduating from the University of Colorado Boulder. Having grown up with parents in the real estate and property management industry, he was a college real estate club member. He was naturally inclined to take an interest in land development.
After interning with Galloway for three months in the summer of 2021, his commitment to a career in civil engineering was confirmed. He enjoyed seeing how his education translates to real-world applications and gaining additional knowledge from his mentors.
Since becoming a full-time employee, he has worked primarily on residential projects. He continues to appreciate his team members’ knowledge, resourcefulness, and support as he builds his foundation in the industry.
Josh is passionate about his faith and started a nonprofit organization in 2020 called One Body, One Spirt. As President of One Body, One Spirit, he coordinates collaboration efforts to break down divisions among people and utilizes his former bookkeeping experience to manage the financial scope. He usually watches a history documentary if he is not working hard for his nonprofit.
