Congratulations to Brian Dennis, PLS, For Winning the PLSC Citizen-Surveyor of the Year!

Galloway would like to congratulate Brian Dennis, PLS, for winning the Professional Land Surveyors of Colorado (PLSC) Citizen-Surveyor Award!

The award is given to acknowledge, according to the PLSC website, members who perform “highly beneficial services to the surveying profession and to the community.”

Brian was recognized for the award for his many contributions to both the PLSC and his community. These include:

• Being a long-standing director on the PLSC board
• Being a longtime member of the PLSC legislative committee
• Actively participating and leading activities for and on behalf of the Chair of the Youth Outreach Committee, including speaking engagements about careers in survey at schools ranging from junior high to colleges.
• Helping to build VR sandboxes to bring to career counselor events, among others, and works with the Boy and Girl Scouts for survey badge achievements.
• Speaking at adjacent state board meetings and is a long-standing NSPS member for continuous professional growth and knowledge.

We would like to thank Brian for all he does (on top of his role at Galloway!) to educate youth on survey and better our community.
