Guidelines for Outdoor Dining in Aurora: Need Help With Your Permitting?

June 30th, 2020

In an effort to help local restaurants ramp up operations while maintaining healthy practices, the City of Aurora has released guidelines to help restaurants operate temporary outdoor dining spaces. The City of Aurora is waiving its fees on these expedited Temporary Use Permits, which would allow restaurants to use outdoor spaces adjacent to their buildings, such as parking lots and sidewalks, in order to keep patrons socially distanced.

The permits would also loosen regulations on parking requirements and outdoor alcohol service (a separate state permit will be required for alcohol and is available at half its typical fee).
