Best Places to Work 2023
We proudly announce that Galloway was selected as a “Best Place to Work” in the Giant Company category. This is Galloway’s fifth consecutive year to receive this recognition.
According to the Denver Business Journal, Denver’s best companies know that culture doesn’t stop at the end of a workday or workweek. Great culture relies on many things: trust in leaders, a shared vision for the future, engaging work, strong relationships, opportunities for professional growth, great benefits, and a supportive team environment.
The Denver Business Journal teamed with Quantum Workplace to identify the region’s Best Places to Work. The 2023 list includes 70 companies selected from 200 nominations across the Denver metropolitan area, judged by those who know the companies best – the employees.
What truly sets Galloway apart is its employee emphasis, and every year we add new activities to support our staff.
In the past year, Galloway introduced pulse surveys. Our People team sends out short one-question surveys for employees to submit anonymous comments and suggestions. The results are shared with the leadership team, who personally respond to the comments. We also began the implementation of job streams to help with employee growth and development. This tool allows staff to evaluate their current job performance and define areas where they need experience and exposure to get promoted to the next level.
Other significant initiatives at Galloway in 2022 included a new employee network group for our LGBTQ+ community, G-PRIDE. We created a new policy for employees to use company space to host special interest group meetings. In addition, our social and wellness group expanded to include a specific health and wellness team to coordinate companywide events that encourage overall well-being.
