Meet Trent Keys

After working in multiple different industries, Trent started as a Talent Strategist for Galloway in July of 2021.

He grew up camping, fishing, and horseback riding in Pueblo and went to school at Colorado State University-Pueblo. With a dream to work on Wall Street, he majored in economics and minored in finance. However, post-graduation, he realized moving to Denver would be a better fit. He had been drawn to Denver during the weekends with his baseball team.

While working in a sales job, Trent found Galloway on LinkedIn. As someone who enjoys talking to people and thrives in a fast-paced environment, he felt recruiting would be a good fit.

“I fell in love with Galloway and everything about it and recruiting,” said Trent.

Trent mainly focuses on the production side of recruiting, conducting interviews, creating all new hire setups, coordinating with hiring managers, ensuring the needed technology is ready, and assisting with first-day onboarding. He wears multiple hats in his role and enjoys the challenge of needing to have a knowledge base about each discipline Galloway provides. He also appreciates how personable recruiting is compared to his previous jobs.

“Talking to people is my favorite. I probably talk to at least ten new people a week. I hear their stories and make those connections,” said Trent. “I get to be their point of contact for an opportunity that can change their life.”

Trent is working on a project to increase Galloway’s Veteran hires, which nearly tripled last year.

“It is a hard transition going from military to civilian life. If Galloway can help provide a smooth pathway between the two, it is a great way of giving back,” added Trent.

You can find him running around Denver’s parks, hiking Colorado’s highest peaks, golfing, or at a Broncos, Rockies or Avalanche game in his free time. He is training to complete his first marathon and has an 814-day fitness streak on his Apple watch.
