As South Ogden City grew, its municipal facility became overcrowded, restricting its ability to meet the community’s needs. The City engaged Galloway to study its municipal services to address this challenge. Working collaboratively with the City, our team evaluated several alternatives, including remodeling existing facilities or replacing the municipal center. Our goal was to ensure that the new municipal center reflects the community’s values and serves as a hub of civic life, where residents can access essential services and participate in community events.

Our team designed the municipal center to accommodate various functions, including Fire Station No. 82, fire administration, police, justice courts, and administrative functions. We also provided master planning services for the downtown municipal area. The design offers departmental identities and separation within a unifying image, establishing a strong presence on a prominent city corner.

This modern municipal center delivers various functions, including city administration and public services, development services, law enforcement, multi-use justice court and council chambers, fire station no. 82 and administration, community assembly spaces, and secure parking.

Galloway provided a needs assessment, master planning, architectural design, interior design, and landscape architecture services to create a municipal center that meets the current and future needs of South Ogden City.
