Galloway is currently designing an adaptive reuse of a former Kmart site to revitalize a neighborhood center along the University Drive corridor in southern Fargo, North Dakota. Modifications to the existing building include incorporating the addition of new retail, restaurants, grocery, automotive and self-storage uses. This thoughtful mix of tenants enhances visibility, customer awareness, and creates a high level of activation across the multiple uses. The retail storefronts and restaurants with covered outdoor patios are positioned to bring activity to the highly visible front and side facades.

The roughly 30,000 square foot storage tenant is situated behind the retail units to utilize the rear portion of the deep building footprint for customer loading, while still maintaining prominence on the front façade with the incorporation of a new entry feature. Six additional outlots are planned to utilize the perimeter of the current large parking lot with future tenants.
