The Promenade at Castle Rock is envisioned as a one-of-a-kind shopping destination in Colorado. The overall project encompasses more than 160 acres and 1 million square feet of retail and 320 apartments at its ultimate build-out in 2017. Galloway has played a critical role in the visioning, planning, entitlement, and architectural design for the site, as well as landscape architecture and site lighting design.

Additionally, Galloway provided civil engineering design for the King Soopers and Sam’s Club at the site. Galloway’s team has worked extensively with the Town of Castle Rock to ensure the community’s needs are addressed with this significant project.

The Promenade at Castle Rock will showcase four distinctive districts that combine desirable retail, services, and restaurants with communal outdoor spaces, a grand hearth and plaza, fountains, seating, and play areas. Influenced by a rich mining history, the Promenade at Castle Rock is designed to be a contemporary interpretation of prairie and mountain vernacular.

By utilizing a natural palette of local materials and signature details with iconic features such as front porches, the Promenade at Castle Rock provides visitors with a unique, small‑town experience in the heart of the Castle Rock community.
